The Mercury Excced has a rasp side with rows of razor-sharp teeth that hold their sharpness for a long time. The Mercury Excced has slightly shorter teeth than the Max Glide rasp. The rasp is aggressive and with only light pressure it removes a lot of horn material with each rasp stroke.
