Supporting the Next Generation of QLD Equestrians
We’re passionate about supporting the future of equestrian sport- and that future lies in the hands of young, driven riders across Queensland.
We created this bursary to recognise and reward the commitment, passion, and perseverance of student riders who give their all- At school, in the saddle, and behind the scenes. We know how much dedication goes into early mornings, late nights, training sessions, and balancing study with sport.

By offering this opportunity, we hope to give one exceptional young rider the support they need to keep striving, dreaming, and representing the spirit of equestrian sport with pride.
This is our way of giving back to a sport and community that gives so much to us- and investing in the rising talent we truly believe in.
Any rider who has competed in QLD Interschool competitions for the year they are submitting an entry.
Can compete in any disciplines within QLD Interschool.
Shows active participation in QLD Interschool events.
The top 8 shortlisted applicants will require signed Parental/ Guardian consent (If under 18) and a signed media release form.
Able to submit a 4–5-minute video about their story.
Shows passion, sportsmanship, and dedication.
Apply with a 4–5-minute video sent to our facebook page via messenger (contact us if you are having any problems submitting your video this way and we will approve an alternate process- feel free to submit via parental social media if you do not have messenger yourself)
You must follow all Bursary sponsors on social media for your application to be eligible
The top 8 selected candidates will be required to supply a signed parental consent and media release form

Applications close Sunday 24 May 2026 11:59pm
Winner will be announced at Interschool QLD State Championships
REMEMBER: This isn’t about being the best rider- it’s about showing commitment, passion and perseverance.
The following criteria will be judged using a core panel of 8 judges and 1 guest judge each year.
All with the same vote weight, but with the guest judge having the ability to choose the winner from a tied event.
