Gemma Creighton-Buchanan is a highly accomplished Australian showjumper and coach based in Helidon, Queensland. In 2025, she secured her first World Cup victory at the Shepparton World Cup Festival with Dada Des Brimbelles Z, marking a significant milestone in her career.
Gemma's international experience includes representing Australia in New Zealand, Mauritius, Malaysia, Bangkok, and Singapore. In 2024, she was a member of the Australian Trans-Tasman team at Willinga Park and was a runner-up in the Senior Australian Jumping Championship. She has also been recognized as a leading rider at the Adelaide Royal for three consecutive years (2022–2024).
Gemma operates the family business ‘It’s Equestrian’, which is dedicated to the retraining of off-the-track Thoroughbreds (OTTs) and offers coaching services. Gemma is a Level 1 Equestrian Australia (EA) coach, conducting clinics across Queensland and offering private lessons in Brisbane and on-property. Her father, Guy, a Level 2 EA coach, now focuses on full-time coaching after retiring from competitive riding.
